Good Afternoon,

I was gifted a Winchester Model 25 12ga this weekend. I know very little about this model and rather than spending hours on google, I was hoping that you fine folks might give me your opinions of this model. I've a Model 12 that I love and I know this is a solid frame model that came after the 12. Other than that, I know little.

So, what do you think of the model 25?

thanks,

Uncle Chan

The model 25 was made between 1949-54...They made about 88000 of them all 12ga... ...it is basicly a solid frame [non takedown] model 12 ...they were made by Winchester to be cheaper than the model 12 but still a quality gun, to compete with other lower cost pumps on the market.........some say it handles better than the model 12

Model 25

my dad has one plain barrel, plain wood, probably my favorite shotgun of any in my family.he told me he got it in 1947 new but i quess it could have been 48. OH THOSE OUTSTANDING OLDIES.
