I've used cci SRP in handgun loads, does anyone have experience with Ginex SRP?
I currently use ginex SPP and like them alot.

I have had no problems with Ginex primers.
SPP or SRP

I have plenty of SPP, so I have'nt used SRP in SPP loads. I would have no problem using them, though.

The SRPs are a tad harder, and just a hair bigger...very tight fit in new brass, and you have to take extra care to make sure they are well seated. They all go bang. I use them in 5.56 a lot.

Yes, SLIGHTLY bigger. Can be very tight.
Found Hornady, Perfecta and S&B to be tight. Crimped primer pockets can be problematic, too.

I accidentally loaded LRP into my 45acp brass and did not catch it until I noted the primers would not seat flush. LRP are a tad taller. I shot a few at the range before I caught it, and nothing terrible happened. I must have skipped my normal high primer finger tip test. It appears SRP and SPP have identical dimensions.

Still, I wouldn' chance it again, especially since SPP are not that hard to get right now.

Apparently, it worked out for you though.

I haven't used any Ginex primers yet. I don't need primers right now but when the prices drop a bit more I might buy some just to give them a try.

I of course used CCI, Remington, Winchester and Federal but also used Wolf, Magtech, S&B, Fiocchi, Tula and a handful of others I can't remember right now. Some better than others of course. I think the Fiocchi and Wolf primers were the best IIRC.
