Glass bedding the ruger m77 target

I own a ruger m77 varmint target in 22-250 and am planning on buying a thumb hole laminated stock and glass/pillar bedding the action. This would be my firts run at it so does anyone have any advise ?

Some pictures of what I did. I recently used Alumimum pillars on a M700, and I think it is easier to cast pillars from Devcon or Steel Bed.

Primed,

I too own a M77VT and want to bed the stock.
Things I have pondered :
to buy the $100+ piloted forstener bit to bore the stock to action screw holes in the stock, to do just one job?
How to make sure not to weld my stock to the action with Acraglas, due to the 60 degree cant of the area where the recoil lug contacts the pillar ????
Have talked to one "smith" and he only beds the part behind the recoil lug, and I want a full bedding job along with the pillars.
On a positive note, Brownells carrys the aluminum pillars for the Rugers they have the 45 degree angle cut into the forward pillar,and they also have that $$$$$ forstner bit in the correct size.

If you happen to scare up a "smith" that does this type of work please share it with me and drop me a pm.

I found out Brownells has a pdf printable set of instructions for those pillars they sell , log on to the website and download a set!

I routed out the front and rear action screw holes with a 5/8" wood bit.

I packed the holes with Brownell's steel bed and pushed the action screws through the epoxy.

Of course, everything was coated with Johnson paste wax, and I added masking tape around the screws, and coated that with paste wax.

When left over epoxy was semi hard, I lifted the action out and knocked out the screws. Before the epoxy became rock hard, I used a drill to increase the internal diameter of the screw holes.

Once the epoxy became rock hard, I routed out a lot of wood.

When completely bedded, the accuracy of the rifle became target grade.
