I am aware that the Glenfield 60 is pretty much the same as a Marlin model 60 however upon disassembling mine I noticed some minor differences. At any rate I was wondering will this breach bolt be compatiable.http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/default.aspx?productNumber=429195 I also noticed during the disassembly that the other metal parts such as the feed ramp had horrible pitting all over. I had several malfunctions that I have never seen occur before; I will attempt to explain what was happening.
The gun would stovepipe however would have already chambered a round. The rim of the stove-piped round would get caught behind the next round that is ready to be chambered. This a very difficult jam to clear with a tube feed rifle. After a day of shooting with this type of jam every other shot I was tempted to just sell the gun.
