Work on fundamentals. Changing equipment to chase accuracy isn't a solution. Go try the Glocks, they are great guns and stuff, but if you have bad habits shooting the Sigma they are just going to transfer over. The Sigma will probably group nearly as well as the Glock in an experienced shooter's hands.

Dry fire a lot. Focus on grip, breathing, sight alignment and trigger control. When the hammer falls or the striker fires, the sights should stay aligned all the way through. Go to the range and put a snapcap randomly in the magazine. This will help you to know if you are flinching. Work on controlling the flinch at the range.

That's a lifetime of practice right there.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a Sigma .22LR conversion kit. But rather than trading that Sigma for a Glock, it may pay to grab an inexpensive used .22 pistol and really really work hard on the fundamentals. if you can get down your shooting fundamentals, I'd bet you see an improvement in your accuracy with the Sigma. (unless, of course, there is actually something wrong with your particular gun.)

That being said, I've found that some guns do shoot better for me than others. But it's only incremental differences if I'm doing my part.

Here's mine

My Gen 2 G17 w/CTC and Surefire light. It's the nightstand gun for close-up work if ever needed. On the range at 25 yards I'm inconsistent with this pistol. Probably me but I get much better groups with my daily carry G27.

forindooruseonly i know that i don't flinch. and i have shot the 1911 and the XDm a lot better than the sigma. i think it's the sights they are much larger than i would like. and what i mainly have trouble with is speed shooting i shoot just fine slow fire.

Here is my Glock 17. I put night sights on it and everything else is stock. It is my everyday carry and I love it. I compete with this Glock 34 and carry the G17 as it is the same frame so training with my 34 doesn't screw up what I carry.

If I hadn't walked into a smoking deal on a g20 last week I would have a 2nd Gen g17 to post pics of.

Ill rectify this issue as soon as possible. For now ill continue to carry my trusty if not long g34
