Glock 17C Prices?

I found an excellent like new 3rd Gen Glock 17C for sale at a local Gander Mountain for $350.00. It comes with 2 ten round mags only. Is this a pretty good deal? I would have preferred a standard 17 or 22 but it seems kinda hard to pass up.

I haven't looked in my book, but I'd say $350 for "like new" is a good price. I just looked real quick at 2 places that sell online, and best I could get a new one with 2-10rd. magazines is $529. If it feels good in your hand, then buy it before someone else does. My friend has a 1st or 2nd gen and he loves it. Says front sight stays right on target during rapid fire. (I wanted one. Couldn't find a used one, so bought a new CZ75DAO for $320.) I've fired a Glock 22C (.40 caliber) in a dimly lit firing range and the flash from the ports didn't bother me one bit.

I've found that when buying a gun if you don't buy what you originally wanted, you wind up disappointed. In your case however, if you don't wind up satisfied with it, you can always sell it and get your $350 back. Unlike buying it for the going rate more like $450. I'm supprised that you found a deal at GM. Around here their used gun prices are way high. Definately avoid lead bullets in a ported Glock.

I think they must have mismarked it. The guy behind the counter wondered who did the tag because it read $350 even instead of $349.99 (I guess everything is marked XXX.99) He was nice enough to put it on a 24hr hold while I thought about it.

If it actually is $350 you should jump on it right now at that price. Even $450 would still be a pretty darn good price.

For that price you could buy a new non=comped barrell to go with it and still be ahead of the game.

Thanks for the input guys. I field stripped it at the store today and it hardly looks fired. Has factory adjustable sights and still had the copper grease inside it too. I was wrong on the price too. It was $345.00 Does not have the case or cable lock goodies. Only 2 10 rd mags.

Tell him that since it doesn't have a trigger lock you want to buy it for $335.
