G19, Columbia Firearms Service IWB. ( local guy, great "hybrid" holster...and one of the few lefty ones I didn't have to wait months for )

G19 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special II IWB, about 4:00 on the hip. Milt Sparks double mag carrier on opposite hip.

I'm not sure if you're just asking about holster/carry methods but if you're debating between those two models I advise getting a 19. I bought a 23 for my first carry gun and traded it for a 19 within three months. As much as i tried, i couldn't get used to the recoil of the .40. I was MUCH faster with the 19 and didn't flinch like i did with the 23.

Note: I've broken my right hand twice, so I'm more recoil sensitive than most when it comes to handguns. If you're just as comfortable/fast/accurate with the 23 and the cost difference for the ammo isn't an issue, then you might want to go with it instead. Safe shooting!

I am asking about holster style, i just titled it that way because they are the same. Thanks.

Do not believe that single type of IWb is just like others holsters that look kinda alike They do n'y not wear the same even tho some may look kinda alike.. Ain't gone be that way or that easy. Most of use have bought holster that we don't like that others do like. So man up , pick one and give it a try out.

So u need to start with front side carry or rear. Meaning straight up or forword cant. Highly adjustable or not adjustable. Then kydex or leather or a cross of the two. If you are going to go to matchs or train draw and fire drills and own only one holster some leather holsters carry fine but do not offer easy reholstering. Kydex/leather like a cross breed /compact style or all kydex are easy to reholster even when the belts very tight. Even what you do as a daily routine and handgun you carry can help define your choice.

All you have have to do is the same as all of use have done, pick one and hope you get it right the first time.

I ordered a Theis IWB horsehide for my G23. I carry my Kahr CM9 around all day in one and its great. I want to carry my G23 more so i figured i'd go with the Theis for that one as well..

I carry a G19 daily. I use the IWB Galco Triton holster and an extra mag or two in a fobus mag pouch (paddle type). It's plenty comfortable and concealable.

I've tried the crossbreed type holster, but they just didn't work for me. They are too hard to get on an off, especially in a car. Which is something I have to do often. I also prefer something with adjustable tension.

Crossbreed Supertuck IWB. Amazingly comfortable way to carry the gun in a very concealed manner. I finally came to the conclusion that the combo of Glock 23 and Supertuck holster worked so well that I had no need for my Ruger LCP so I sold it. I have carried in winter and summer, more than 12 hours a day every day, nearly 365 days a year, even in just a t-shirt and shorts. I highly recommend that holster.

For the ones that carry one of these how do you carry ? IWB/OWB? and what is your carry rig? Thanks
I don't have a 19 yet, but the 36 I carry is roughly the same size (they can actually both use the same holsters). I've got a nice "summer special" style IWB holster that I bought from JBP Holsters. I think they provide very good quality for the money.

I am a strong side OWD guy, have been for the past 20 or so years. Before that I experimented with other styles. My overall choice for the G22/G23/G19 carry is this belt scabbard in horse hide by Kramer. After 17 years of almost daily carry it still looks and performs like new.
I like the Safariland single mag pouch because it hangs lower on the belt than most carriers and doesn't poke me as badly.

I carry my 19 IWB and OWB. Depends on the weather/what I am wearing. I live in FL, so 7 months out of the year, I pretty much have no choice but IWB. When it cools down a little I like to wear OWB.

Anyone else have a holster made by JBP?

I carry my G19 in a Lobo Avenger OWB. I love how light it is (it's a Glock duh), but the chunkiness can get bothersome on occasion. It's a non-issue in the winter, when everyone has a jacket or something covering it.

I just bought a 23C. Bought a Galco FLETCH. Going to open carry it mainly on road trips. Otherwise I CC a 27.

Carry G23 in a Remora holster for concealed IWB, love it. Just dont love the Gen4 grips digging into my side. And a Blackhawk Serpa for OWB when I wear a coat.

I recently switched from Fobus OWB holsters, to Galco IWB holsters for all of my Glocks: 26s, 19s, 17, 20s and 21s. I found that with the Fobus OWB, my low back was becoming quite sore. Not only do the Galco IWB holsters don't hurt, they actually seem to give low-back support. I'd never use Fobus OWBs again.

What I find the most impressive about the Galco IWB holsters, is that they can conceal G20s and G21s so thoroughly, on me at only 5'9 and 180 pounds. A G20 or G21 is a lot of handgun to conceal at my size. The Galco IWBs leave zero observable print.

Glock 19 in a Comp-tac Minotaur hybrid. The back is a little slippery and slides down a bit. Looking for a way to tackify it if anyone has any suggestions. Other than that its a great option
