I just picked up a G19 a few months back. Although I'm not a Glock enthusiast, I think the G19 is the complete package. It has always been one of my "must have" pistols.
As for "spinning the rear sight around" easyg, I can't speak for Zach S but I can tell you that I "spin around" all the rear sights on my SIGs. That simply means that I remove them and re-install them with the original back side facing forwards. This is because many sights have scallops or grooves around the rear notch (supposedly to minimize reflection). For me, it makes it more difficult to get a good sight alignment. I prefer a target style, flat surface rear blade. I think it presents a better sight picture. The "front" face of the rear sight is plain and flat. Turning it around is the easiest way to fix the problem.
