I load my own 10mm ammo, so it's pretty stout. I've seen multiple times now that velocity spreads aren't as wide with a stiffer recoil spring, so what is a good quality and reasonable recoil spring for a Glock 20? Thanks.
I use a Wolff 22lb recoil assembly which includes the guide rod and spring, and it really makes the G20 a much more comfortable shooting weapon. Racking the slide isn't as easy of course as the spring is quite a bit stiffer than stock, but if you're someone who will buy a G20 I'm sure you'll be able to rack the slide with a 22lb recoil spring just fine. It works great with both full power 10mm loads, and watered down FBI loads. http://www.gunsprings.com/index.cfm?page=items&cID=1&mID=5#123
Stronger recoil springs are fine, but don't expect it to change your velocity spreads by any measurable amount. Powder choice and charge consistency are going to be much larger factors.
In the G-20 I like the 20 pound ISMI spring on a steel rod.
