Hi guys,
Did anyone here converted his Glock 21 from 45ACP to 10mm. Any information appreciated. What barrel you use? Reliability. Acuracy......

I've wondered the same, anxious to hear your replies. I've had a couple 10mm over the years but they never took hold but having a simple conversion like a barrel and even an extractor would be something I'd do.

After I done a little research, I found that that Storm Lake barrels have a conversion barrel for Glock 21 from 45ACP to 10mm. I wonder if anyone has an experience with this barrel? Also found this video on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3UEi2abpRQ
but KKM barrel company discontinued the manufacturing of their conversion barrel that recommended in this video. I wonder why? It seems like it is working and it's a great idea!

Lone Wolf also makes a buttload of conversion barrels for Glocks...
I have their 9" barrel on my G20-SF

With a G21 swap, its the same frame as the G20, slide hole is slightly bigger, of course...
and get a 10mm/G20 Extractor & Recoil Spring, as that solves the extraction issues...

You can even use a Standard Glock 20 barrel, but where's the fun in that??

Oh, you can "Get Away With" not switching the Extractor & Recoil Spring...
however, switching them makes it work PROPERLY....as opposed to battering your slide stops,
and occasionally not pulling the case from the new barrel or stovepiping it...

Storm-Lake.com ....

The SL stainless steel Glock barrels look good. ;)
The price is steep but if the EFK Firedragons are N/A then the Storm-Lakes are a good second choice.
The extended barrel is cool too for 10mm but not very handy for regular carry or duty. :uhoh:

Makes sense that it would work, I just wasn't sure if there was a difference in barrel OD like that of trying to go from 9 to 40.
There is probably an issue if one wanted to go from 10 to 45 or are the factory 10 and 45 OD's the same?

Glock 20/21 series.....

I think the Glocks in 20 & 21 have most of the same Glock parts & the same Glock frame. The springs may need to be different depending on what type of 10mm rounds you may use but overall, it's not very complicated.
I'm in no rush to buy any 10mm. The .45acp meets most of my home defense & CCW needs.

A Glock 29 gen 04 10mm wouldn't be bad for warm weather concealment or brief trips but I'm in no rush to buy one. Id get a new Glock 23 gen 04 or a 27 sub-compact with a after market 9x19mm barrel. ;)
