Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if the Glock 29 and 30 can take the longer barrels of their larger brothers the Glock 20 and 21 respectively?

If yes, is Glock the best source for new barrels or is there a particularly good dealer of Glock parts that has good prices?

Thanks for the help.

I believe so check www.glockfaq.com although I am curious why you would want to do this as your legth between the sites would not increase and velocity increase would be marginal. You can get the barrels from glock but I would recomend a federal barrel or others with conventional rifling then you can shoot lead.

Glocks

No, you have to use an after market barrel.
Lone Wolf has them for G29-30 I believe.

I can provide the "why" portion of the answer, which is that they won't work. The locking lugs under the rear portion of the barrel are configured differently for the G29/G30 versus the G20/G21. So, while the G20/G21 barrels may fit in the G29/G30 slides, respectively, the combination won't match up on the frame. If you want a longer barrel for a G29 or G30, you need to buy an aftermarket one.
