I'm a proud owner of a glock 30, and I love it.

Unfortunately, I purchased quite a bit of lake city match for my 1911, and it doesn't fire reliably in the glock. Primer dents, but doesn't fire about half the time. All other ammo I have no problems with.

I'm wondering if a stronger firing pin spring would help this, or am I better off not fooling with it?

Any help appreciated.

Don't monkey with it just yet. I've heard that Glocks (and maybe other striker-fired firearms) have some problems with both hard primers and primers that aren't seated completely.

Switch to another brand of ammo and see if the same thing happens.

Oh, it works fine on any other ammo I've tried.

I've just invested a fair amount in that lake city, and I have no problems with my other .45 with it. If a 10$ spring would let me shoot it, I'd be thrilled. ;)
