Glock 43X Ammo

I just purchased a 43X as alternate carry pistol. It is my first Glock and I like the grip feel and the compactness of it. I have searched and can't find the answer to the following.....Is there an issue with firing Critical Duty 135gr + P in this pistol? I have 2 boxes of these in my stash.

I would check your manual to see if you can shoot +P ammo.

The specs on their website do not mention +P.

To be on the safe side you could contact Glock.

Directly from Glocks website:

We recommend using ammunition that is manufactured and meets SAAMI or other industry standards, and while some +P ammunition meets these guidelines, +P+ usually does not. This ammunition may generate a higher pressure than standard ammunition, which could shorten the life of the parts of your firearm.

I use 124 grain HST +P ammo in mine with no issues. You’re fine using your Critical Duty ammo.

We carried 9mm Glocks in my agency and carried and qualified with +P's.

Would not have done so if it wasn't Glock approved.

The Critical Duty 135 gr +P (new duty load of the FBI for its Glocks, by the way) shoots just fine out of my 43X. It's one of my favorite loads for all my compacts and sub-compacts, in fact.

Thanks for your replies. I called Glock this morning,what an amazing experience in customer service...The phone rang twice,was answered by the receptionist,I asked to speak to technical service,told me to please hold,phone rang 3 times and was answered by a rep who answered my question regarding CD in less than a minute.....Wow! ... Yes I can use CD 135+P safely
