$53.49 through Amazon.com.

What in your mind is a reasonable price? That might help people find something for you in the right range.

Sometimes you buy something for what it does, not for what it is.

This is one of those items.

Mako has a charging handle. Great addition for the handicap like myself. Can't believe how much they are asking. Suggestted retail about $70, lowest i can find is About $55 plus shipping.

If anyone knows of a cheaper price, please point me in the right direction. Please no comments about how one can use the sight to rack the slide or what a worthless device it is.

I'm not trying to be rude, just curious... why do you need this? I could see this being useful for someone who has a missing hand and has a prosthetic?

Also, link... $58 and some change is what I found:

what part of handicap do you not understand. .Yes i considered your comment rude.

If I were handicapped in such a way that this item answered my prayers, I'd have bought two, ten seconds after discovering it, at full price and paid extra for overnight delivery. But that's me.....

Drop them a line and ask if they have a program to help out, whether it's a wholesale price deal or whatever. Tell 'em straight out what the problem is. The most they can say is no.

I've done job/career counseling with individuals with disabilities for 36 years and it never hurts to ask when you're trying to solve a problem. Even car makers have programs to help pay for van mods and such.

His question seemed reasonable to me and not in any way rude.

Same here. We don't know your situation, and maybe Killchain was trying to get a better idea of your problem, so he could offer a better solution.

Just a thought, smile.

tackstrp;;; PM me your address or a place that you feel safe having a total stranger mail stuff to. I may be able to put something together that is very similar. I have an old "Clipster" that mounts to a Glock if you have the right size glock I may have an answer for you.

all this would be free of course.

Side note:::: Great bunch of people here. Nuances of intent are impossible to interpret online. I promise you that no one was trying to be rude. Concern for the well being of others is a tricky proposition at best, especially to or from a complete stranger.
