I've seen it twice. The main portion of your extractor sheared from it's post that is held in the slide by the firing pin saftey. Once that fell out it allowed the plunger to travel a bit to far. Disassemble and push the pin saftey and the broken post should drop out. Replace the extractor, install your plunger assembly and end cover. Put the slide back on the frame and cycle a few times to check function and shoot. triguy
