Both have legions of fans and their detractors. Try them both and decide which one you like.

I hate Glocks. They are ugly. The triggers suck.

I carry a Sig. They have "sex" appeal...

I love a Beretta but if I'm going to subject a gun to holster wear -- let it be a Glock. I care nothing for the looks and it's a great gun for the job. But for me though, it'd be a Glock 19 or 26.

Of course Sigs are great too but a wee bit more expensive. If you can fire both before you buy -- do so. It's the only reliable way to be sure.

The 226 vs. a Glock....................................


The choice is easy.


Go with the 226 if you want a great overall gun.

Go with a Glock if you want a a carry gun. The 226 is a heavy iron.

Both are easy to field strip and take care of. Working on both guns is a peice of cake. Shoot them both!!!

My choice it'd be the Sig all the way!!!!!!

If I can't get a Hi Power, I want a Glock .....

PS: A blued python may have "s*x appeal", butt I'm not sure about either Sigs or Glocks ....
