Except for the magazine spring, would there be any other springs under tension with a round chambered?

Yep. The firing ping spring is in a half cocked position and under tension. The trigger spring is under tension as well.

So after a while then spring replacements would be necessary for.
Firing pin
Trigger spring
Magazine spring

The trigger return spring should be immediately replaced with a NY1 upon purchase (and then you can basically forget about it).

The striker spring will need to be replaced at some point (to insure consistent ignition).

The magazine require routine replacement.

The recoil spring requires routine replacement.

It wouldn't hurt to watch the slide lock spring.
