Glock selling to Iran

That was a misprint, the guns went to Iraq. You will have to wait till I get home from work for me to post the retraction.

So we should dump all the AKs, SKS', Makarovs and other Russian/SovBlok/ChiCom weapons and ammo as well? There's more of these being used against US & allies than Glock pistols.

You maybe surprised how many Smith & Wesson pistols are being used in Hong Kong (China Communist) and Communist SE Asia.

I'm not really worried about pistols being used for war, I'm more concerned with long arms, tube artillery, shaped charges and other things that explode.

Let's not start on nukes and chemical/biological agents ...

CWL, Uhhh bud, I don't see where anyone at all mentioned anything about dumping glocks etc... a lil defensive are we? The man simply provided a link to information in the form of a published article . So I'm guessin in your heart you feel that Glock should be boycotted but as ya prob own glocks ya have an internal conflict going on causing ya to strike out as demonstrated above? Ya see thats the text book reasoning for such comments at least from a pchycology view

so I guess if Italy ever starts to criticize the U.S. foreign policy, I will have to get rid of my Beretta...

with Americans protesting our presence in Iraq and Afghanistan, I need to say bye-bye to my Remington, Savage, Ruger, and Smith & Wesson firearms...:scrutiny:

WHATEVER!!! :cuss:

it's bad enough that our own elected officials are trying to deprive us of our weapons that we have a right to by legislating bans on this type or that type (eg: HR 297 is a resurrected version of the 1994 ban that expands the list to include 'pump action shotguns'; other examples exist...there is a ban in the works for PA that has provisions that any weapon that uses a removable magazine needs to be registered with the state) :banghead:

and yes I'm a bit defensive considering that I recently got info on such bans in the works and I feel that such situations on the political horizon are bullcrap and I am tired of being stomped on for being a firearms owner...I'm done! Flame me if you wish!

 Theres a difference between a slightly different belief in policy and arming a nation full of radical islamic terrorists. I'd buy a American made firearm over a foriegn one anyday.

Now a days we buy German and Japanese cars and various other products from are so called enemy's.

You got beef with Iran, cause i don't. I don't know any Iranians and if your mad cause of soldiers dying you better be mad at the government for sending are boys off to fight on foreign soil.

Propaganda got you spooked is all.

You want to be mad at Glock, be mad at any company thats every made a gun thats ever killed a person. Which is all of them unfortunately.

dstorm1911,

Sorry but I don't accept psycological evaluations from anyone who cannot spell "psychology" , let alone your diction pattern.

As for the rest, I really don't have a clue what you are trying to say. But I'll repeat myself for you in case you do not understand:
"I'm not really worried about pistols being used for war, I'm more concerned with long arms, tube artillery, shaped charges and other things that explode."

Did I say for anyone to "dump their Glocks"?

We've already beat this horse on the thread about Steyr rifles.

And yes I agree that capitalism shall rein supreme!:)

Ummm, because the pistols will be going to Shia insurgents in Iraq.

A favorite weapon in Iraq for urban terrorism is the Glock 17 converted to full automatic. Iranian border police will smuggle them along a rat line into Iraq where they will be used against American troops.

Source? I'd like to read about this.

El T...

That's quite a stretch. If all our troops had to worry about was full auto Glock 17s...think about it.

Biker

As someone said above, business is business.
Quite a few US companies does business with Iran at this point which benefits not only the company but also Iranians as well.
