I own a couple of Glocks, both gen 3, specifically models 17 and 21. My glock 17 is newer and is the RTF version, while my glock 21 I bought recently used, in great condition, at a gun show. After bringing it home, I noticed the slide wobbles on the frame at the end of the barrel when I shake it. I pulled out my glock 17 and it does not wobble at all. Then I pulled out my S&W which was also pretty tight.
Is this normal? I don't think glock makes their guns "loose" on purpose for reliability like an ak-47. I know the sights and barrel are attached to the slide, not the frame, so does this effect much? I've heard slide-to-frame fit constitutes 5% of a pistol's accuracy but just was wondering others' thoughts. I took it a part and inspected it but I believe the slide is just a tad big for the frame. Even if it doesn't effect much on accuracy, it just annoys me.
