I use a stock 5.5# trigger for USPSA/IPSC, and the NY1 trigger for CCW (personal preference).

I am wondering if anyone has the equipment or the data of what the trigger pull weights are for the following combinations.

NY1+ 5.5# connector = ???
NY1 + 3.5# connector = ???
Standard + 5.5# connector = ???
Standard + 3.5# connector = ???

I've heard the NY1+3.5# is the smoothest trigger out there.... wondering what the difference in pull weight is between all the different combinations.

This isn't carved in stone, as there is some variation from gun to gun.

NY#1 & 5.5# = ~ 8# trigger pull
NY#1 & 3.5# = ~ 6-7# trigger pull. More revolver like and solid re-set.
Stock spring & 5.5# = not surprisingly ~ 5.5-6# trigger pull.
Stock spring & 3.5# = suprisingly ~ 4-4.5# trigger pull.

It is based on my own experience and what I was told in Glock Armorer's school a number of years ago (I looked at my notes). Hope this is of some help.

I recently tried the NY1 with a 3.5 connector - felt very heavy - not particularly smooth. Tried also the NY1 with the spring removed - a bit better but still not as good as the stock spring and the 3.5 connector.

I got a Glockworx tactical trigger and am very pleased - crisp - short take up and no overtravel - really nice. I need to measure the weight, but I am guessing about 3lbs. I use a standard striker spring for reliability.

I know pretty much zero about Glocks, but a guy next to me at the range let me try his 17 and 19. One had a 3.5 and "trigger job" while the other was stock with 3.5. Honestly I did very well just with the regular setup and was frankly surprised how crisp it was for a striker gun. Had no trouble picking off spinning targets at 25 yards. He was baffled and asked, "how did you do that?".:p
