All but that pesky gap at the front of the dust cover, it'll fit. Doesn't really make it a good idea. I know it wouldn't ever happen, but I'd always be concerned the recoil spring flange on the slide would make contact with the front of the dust cover and cause either damage or a FTE.

Let alone being an invitation for a lot of uninvited junk to find its way into my pistol.

There are folks that grind the grip down on their G19's to G26 size, which would give you the size you want without the ill fitting dust cover.

There are folks that grind the grip down on their G19's to G26 size, which would give you the size you want without the ill fitting dust cover.

That also lets you use a Glock 19 mag (with extra rounds) as backup if you use a 26 mag in the grip while carrying. (You can do that with a 26, of course, but you don't have the unsightly, potentially problematic gap at the front of the dust cover when using the cut-down 19 frame.
