I'll get the word out...this is potentially a HUGE thing.

Especially for the U.S. International Muzzle-Loading Team. You have NO idea what it is costing us to buy powder on location....if it is to be had at all.

Goex started this back in April. Their initial approach to the government was to be in May. It was discussed on another forum - the moderator offered to help with a letter writing campaign and Goex told him thanks, but to send the letters to them (Goex), not the government. It hasn't gone anywhere since then that I'm aware of.

Join the NAR

That's NAR, not NRA (which you should also join!)

The National Association of Rocketry along with Tripoli Rocketry Association have had a court case against the BATFE since 2002. Black Powder is used in model and high-power rocketry, not only as a propellant, but also as an ejection charge for the recovery system.

These groups claim that black powder, which is currently classified as a low-explosive, should be removed entirely from the explosive list.

GOEX should look into joining them in the law suit.

makes sense. im just not too sure goex is doing anything if this has been on their site for so long. i hope they are though

Hooray for Goex! I always prefer real black powder over substitutes, but it's getting so scarce these days.
