Hey THR members hows it going? I wanted to post this video here of me shooting 2060 yards with a 338 lapua.
Shooting 2060 yards with the Savage 110BA

For this shooting session I use the Savage 110BA in 338 lapua, the rifle is topped with a Nightforce 5.5-22x56 in MIL/MIL that sits on top of a Ken Ferrall 30 MOA base. This morning was pretty calm outside, noticed a head wind around 1-2mph at the target. The target is a standard IPSC size torso target 5/8" steel that weighs in at 80lbs. At this distance I have to dial in around 21 mils for hight and 1.6 mils for drift/wind/Coriolis. I shoot a total of 18 rounds and land 4 hits, the first two were consecutive hits, I believe they were the 4th and 5th shots. I let you guys enjoy the rest in the video! Please ask any questions you have and let me know what you think!

nice shooting! i'm guessing you sped up the vid to eliminate downtime between shots?

Thanks, actually what you see is the actual time from the rifle firing to the time of impact, bullet flight time is approximately 3.5 seconds at my altitude of 7000+ ft. During the slow mo's I did speed up the vid for time.

i get the flight time...but did you actually fire off the string that quick? no editing between shots? that's a pretty quick string of fire.
