Gold dot front sites

I'm thiking of changing the front site on my 1911 and I'd like to try a gold dot in a standard dovetail cutout. Anyone know of a manufacturer?

I know that Pistol Dynamics makes a gold dot front site but it utilizes a non-standard installation.

Just found this page; dunno what the "finishing" entails, but they have a darn good price on their sight blanks @ 1/3 that of the Novaks, and even the sights with bead preinstalled are half price:

Jim Garthwaite in Watsontown, PA does all mine. His beads are less than the width of the front sight post, more like that Novak front post. SDM's take up the full width of the post.

I like the smaller diameter beads personally.
