Very nicely done; ornate yet not overdone to the point of being gaudy or ostentatious. I've always thought the Model 1910 was one of the most streamlined pistols ever designed and built. Thanks for sharing.

hi mustang_steve ,
thank you for your nice comment ,
3 days later my daughter , her son and her husband going to visit your nice land for 10 days ( orlando & florida )

Every Day Carry
Is this to be a gun you carry and shoot or will you treat it like art work and only show it?

How much did the work cost?
As much as the price of the gun or more?

oh i see , yes this is my EDC gun , i carry it on my small handbag everyday ,yes its cost me more than price of the gun , as you see its gold covering large section

.. i would have bet its for EDC, as no one likes bling more than
the Turks or the russians :)

Cok nice work on it, Mr. VIP

How close is the serial on your gun to that one?

Refinishing often destroys the value, historical or otherwise of a gun like that, but I have to say it is very nice work. In the before picture the gun looked in excellent condition.

Normally I'd agree but on this occasion, historical value can be damned. The value here is an exceptional heirloom to be handed down to his family and surely never to be forgotten who the original owner of that pistol was.

In this case, to hell with historical, collector or museum value. I commend Mr.Vip for having the fortitude to do such a project.....Oh, and the cash too. :)

normally not my thing, but damn that is beautiful! i dont think i would feel right carrying that anywhere but church:D. very nice work and tastefully done!

Nice gun.... I have only spent a couple weeks in Turkey but there are some nice guns there. I bought myself a side by side shotgun with some engraving, very nice piece.

sorry for my english

No need to be sorry, your English is much better than some of the people on this board who live in English speaking countries.

That is a beautiful gun. A timeless, classic design to start with and now a very unique, functional piece of art.

That is one of the most beautiful engraved pistols I've ever seen. Beautiful job!
(edit: perhaps engraving is not the right word, but whatever process it was, it was perfect.)
