I need some clarification if anyone knows this info. As I understand it, the 230gr Golden Saber bullet is designed to best match "ball" profile in order to maximize feeding reliability. It's HP isn't as huge as some others, but manages to still expand well. The design prioritizes feeding, then expansion. Whereas some other HP's have massive holes that deviate from a normal profile.

My question is, does the 9mm GS bullet (124gr) also have the same design idea behind it? That is, to match standard ball profile for best feeding etc...?

Thanks for any input you guys give...

I've loaded quite a few rounds in both the 9mm and the .45 ACP with bulk Remington Golden Sabers and have not had any problems with feeding. The hollow on the GS appears to be slight larger than on the other Remington JHP bullets but they function just as well. I think the rounded ogive of the bullet that end at the hollow nose helps Remingtons freed well as other brands have a more direct angular taper.
