Good .22 pistol?

If you had not said good I might have suggested a Phoenix which is strange and different to say the least. Very picky when it comes to ammo. Main attribute is low price.

^^ Though not for his uses due to its repetitive and redundant manual and passive safeties, the HP22A is indeed a surprisingly-good shooter, especially for its price point.

But, man does it require some attention to those safety features. Gotta have just the right placement of everything on it to get it loaded, unloaded, or to fire.

My Ruger SR-22 is a good shooter and not picky with ammo

A very accurate gun considering short barrel

The S&W 22A is a great little gun and inexpensive. I'm surprised no
one mentioned the S&W Model 41. After all, you can't let the $1000 dollar
price tag scare you away from buying a nice pistol. (ha ha)
