Let's NOT get into the steel vs brass ammo debate. There is PLENTY of that already. But for those of you who have no problem shooting Steel case ammo, CenterFire Systems has a great price right now. Order over $99 and get free shipping.

55 grain ammo: steel case, bi-metal core, COPPER Jacketed. 1000 rounds $179.50.

That comes out to $3.59 per box of 20. Or: $0.18 per round. And it's FREE SHIPPING!!!

Anyway; for those that don't have a problem, thought you might want to know.

Free Shipping EXPIRES Tomorrow Morning at 8am eastern time. So order no if you want it.

P.S. Forgot to mention that the $3.59 per box price is for any quantity. You can buy just 10 boxes or 50 boxes at the same price. It's the free shipping that is for $99 is sales or more. And ammo normally charges a bit for shipping; so if you buy at list 28 boxes, you'll be above the $99 and get free shipping.

I just ordered 500 rounds at $89.75 plus 2-20 Round Thermold LE Magazines for $4.99 each to get me over the $99. No problem. Was going to order 1000 rounds at $179.50, but I have about 1200 rounds already on stock. And with it the middle of winter, I'm not out shooting as much as I normally do.
