good 30-06 189 grain bullete for elk

I have had good luck with the nosler partition, trophy bonded bear claw, and the good old cheap remy corlock. The corlocks seem to hold togather good at 06 speeds and I wouldn't mind using them again. Nosler is the one I have the most kills with and its a good bullet IMHO. Really the only bullet I didn't like was the nosler balistic tip 180, now I know better than to shoot a deer bullet at elk.

I've never elk hunted, but from research, Swift A Frame, Nosler Partition or Barnes Triple Shock would do the job nicely.

Nosler Partition. It just plain works.

Federal Premium line is what I used to use before I stated handloads, and it was great factory ammo.
