Im looking for a good quality ar-15 flashlight that attaches directly to a picatinny rail. In other words, I want the light to come out of the box with the attatchments already built in to do so. Also, are there any legalities/restrictions in the State of NJ against lights on weapons? I dont think so, but doesnt hurt to ask.

The scout light will have more throw while the X300 has a slightly wider beam. Both are good. The X300 also works best in the 12 o'clock position. But that only works depending on your rail.
