good (but long) article; a must-read

this is a pretty good article. it's obscenely long, but it's definately a must-read. the URL is http://www.techcentralstation.com/1051/defense wrapper.jsp?PID=1051-350&CID=1051-031103A (the space is to maintain the formatting of the forum, so a long URL doesn't take the thread off the screen).

basically, he's saying the US is acting responsibly, and he says it in a logical (although wordy) manner. he also says that we're at a time of huge historical importantce massive enough it's impossible to predict the outcome. incredibly objective, it doesn't even seem to have a conservative bias.

certainly is. I was rather surprised at how long it took to read. unfortunately, too much of it was simply filler, and not enough actual content. I'm sure the author could have made it half as long without losing any content.

but it's certainly an interesting read, and I'll probably re-read it tomorrow to make sure I understood it well
