Good data analysis showing no correlation between rate of firearms ownership and firearms homicides

    The result of the data analysis shows there is no correlation between rate of firearms ownership and rate of homicides in which a firearm was involved. When the old "guns are responsible..." is trotted out it is very useful to have good hard numbers to counter that show that an emotional response isn't supported by data from the UN and analysis conducted by a major credible newspaper like The Guardian.
