Today was a good day, took my mom and grandpa to the range. I wanted my mom to get the feel for which gun she would like to use for HD. I started her out with my old sccy 9mm, it shot flawlessly, but that gun is way to jumpy (the reason I call it Thumper), I had her try my Rossi 38 next, she doesn't like it in double action, but in single action she was getting nice 3 inch groups at 10 yards, she next shot my gramps Daewoo in .40s&w, that gun is on point! She had 2 inch groups after the 2nd mag, out of them all this was her favorite, she tried my bersa but didn't like the safety it has, I was having problems with my ruger p95, I figured it was mag issues, so I bought some new ones, and I was right, it ran wonderfully today, I had some nice 2 inch groups at the ten yard range ( glad it was mag issues and not something else), next I got to break in my new s&w sigma 9 (I finally got around to picking it up, long over due), I love it!! People complain about the trigger but it's fine, nothing too major, it's a tack driver!! I ran 200 rounds with no hiccups, best group was 1.5 inches at 10 yards, it feels so great in the hand, point like a finger! It's moved up to my #1 go to gun. After the learning part, it was time for fun! Just some light shooting with some of my .22's, the most fun was with the NAA mini revolver, not very accurate at distance, but still so much fun to shot! All in all, it was a great day, my mother had a blast and is already talking about the next time she wants to go shot! I think she has caught the bug! Just wanted to share.
