Usually any day at the range is a fun day but I was on fire today.

I was out plinking with some 22s.

Marlin model 60 offhand at 20-25 yards and browning buckmark at 7-15 yards. No tin cans were spared...

I've only been shooting pistols for a few years but I'm improving. Near the end of my day I was knocking spent 12 gauge hulls with the buckmark at 12 yards almost every shot. Abnormal for me, I'm usually good for pop can to tennis ball sized targets consistantly at that distance.

Anyone else occasionally shoot lights out?

How long is the barrel on your buckmark. I had one with a 10 inch bull barrel. It had a Simmons 4x long eye relief optic. Used to shoot bullsey with it shot mid 280s. Had a fifty yd friendly competition with two other shooters to see which one of us could come closest between the eyes of my hostage and terrorist targets.
Put 5 rapid fire between the eyebrows.

That was a long time ago now I struggle to see my sights.

It's a stainless 5.5 inch bull barreled model

I love a good day with some .22 guns, especially out "in the open" and not punching paper. For me, unfortunately, such opportunities no longer exist; I'm stuck using paper targets at public ranges locally.
