During the recent scare, I've been wondering about buying a new rifle. I guess I have the buyanewgun bug, a long with other people, so here are my interests.
An AR-15/AR-10 rilfe, or maybe 2 uppers one for 5.56 and the other 7.62?
Buy an AR platform rifle, plus a 50 BMG upper?
I really want an AR, have been for several years. I deer hunt a lot, so the 7.62 AR sounds appealing. I'm thinking DPMS for the 7.62, and maybe STAG for the 5.56. My local gun dealer builds DPMS and carries them by the dozens, often has a couple base models for $650-ish. Any suggestions?
