Good price on milspec M1A/M14 mags

Since I've been snapping up all I can afford I thought I'd pass along the website for great mag prices. 44mag.com has milspec Checkmate (current military manufacturer) for 24.99 free shipping. I can vouch that these are the real deal and work fine in my Socom I and M1A. They have other good prices but I was just after the M1A mags. These mags by the way are the same ones Springfield armory sells for 50 bucks. Checkmate just puts Springfields name on the buttplate.

That is probably the best you will find. 44mag.com is very competitive in their pricing.

RC, I don't think any of the M14 mags at CDNN are genuine USGI mags, whatever the ad copy may say. CDNN is overall a great company but they are very "liberal" in applying the terms "GI spec," "high quality," and "best quality." Basically I run if I see those terms used in their description of something. (For name-brand stuff, they often have the best prices, and they've always been prompt, accurate and generally great in about 6 years of doing business with them.)

44mag is the best option for real USGI mags. $25 is good now, but they were under $22 earlier this year. However, the new stainless steel CMI mags are really nice for range or competition use. They seem better made than the already fine parkerized CMI mags, but are very shiny.
