The atrticle states that police found 2 guns on the would-be-robber, who was there to steal opiates.

Tell me the suspect not a threat and meant no harm. Good for the customer for stepping up.

Could have easily gone the other way for the pharmacist and customers.

Glad only the robber was injured (better yet... killed.). Years ago drug store robberies were commonplace and I'm betting they'll come back into fashion as the crackdown on "opioids" and heroin increases.... Armed robbery is dangerous business, period, particularly when it's someone looking to rob a pharmacy.

Another good outcome came in my area when narcs rubber shot himself to death when surrounded by a SWAT team. I think they should have stuff like oxycodone 30mg only available at high security specialty facilities like what they did to methadone 40mg. It's getting tiresome to see weakling drug addicts try to get the stuff through armed robberies endangering lives of others. I freely admit I don't give feces if drug seekers get killed in the process.
