Good scope for varmint AR

Hey guys, I'm looking for advice on a good scope (and mount) or a varmint AR. I'm considering a Nikon BDC (probably the P-223) but would like to hear of some recommendations for other scopes as well. I'd like to keep the scope under $200 if possible.

Vortex Strikefire is a nice red/green dot scope for under $200.00

I own the Nikon P223 3-9x40 with the P-series mounts. Installed them on my 20" AR 15,and couldn't be happier. This scope is based on the ProStaff line,and is a great value. I own four Nikon's,and like them all.
