I have a nice AK 47 and a 9mm pistol, I'm sure the handgun magazine pouches on any tactical vest will fit my 9mm's mags, but does anyone know of a good tactical vest under $100 that will fit AK 47 magazines?

All the ones I have seen have straight rifle mag pouches, only looks like it would work for AR-15 mags.

And preferably, something that looks like one of these first 5 or 6 vests.

It depends on what you want it for. Why do you want a tactical vest?

I find those vests impractical. For classes and competitions, I use a much simpler rig.

Yeah, I'd recommend a mag bra instead of a vest.

Look for AK chest rigs and you'll be much happier.

That vest would be the worst option you could get IMHO. Look into a chicom rig or do what I did and get a molle chest rig and build it yourself. This is six 30 rounders and weighs about 12.5 lbs. 40 round mags would be more like 15lbs so keep that in mind. I also have less in this rig than the setup you listed from amazon.

I'd recommend getting a Molle vest rig and building it to suit your needs. That way if you ever want to change the rifle you're using it with, you only have to swap out mag pouches instead of buy a whole new vest. It also let's you move extra pouches to different positions as you find what works for you. I've lost track of how many times I've reorganized my vest because I found that something else worked better. I went with a Molle version of a Rhodesian chest rig and like it a lot.

As far as the mag pouches go, how many mags do you want to carry? They do get pretty heavy, especially the AK mags. A general rule of thumb is that a pouch designed to hold 2 AR mags will hold one AK mag, and a pouch designed to hold 3 AR mags will hold 2 AK mags. The triple mag pouches also work well for water bottles. Don't forget to have at least one IFAK on your vest as well. It can literally be a life saver.
