That looks like a comfy shootin' position.

Not really comfortable ill admit lol.

I need to get shooting mat....or that trailer running lol. Dosent help that from there i was skimming bullets thru the low grass to hit the top of the target board.

The penetration on those will surprise you.
I settled on the 17 grain A-17 Ammo. It was a little hotter and more consistent.
One of my buddies swears by thr A17 ammo, i havent been able to get ahold of any yet tho.

If you were closer. I have about 3000 rounds.

No kiddin’… nothing looks comfy down there on the ground at all.

Loonwulf it looks like you’ve dialed that one in well. I also like the BCM Mod. 1-style handgrip on my AR’s over the stock AR grips, the more vertical grip is much better for me.

Once you re-scope it let us know how it shoots again :)

Stay safe.

Yeah i much prefer the more vertical grips on guns like this, i may go to one of the 90* target grips to see how that feels..... actually i think i might still have one from my CCI Phantom.

New scope(s) at the postoffice, so should have an update with it soon.

Couple better pictures also....i forgot them.

Nice looking rig. Just to show how rifles are different I have two in 17 hmr. A G2 Contender with a 23" barrel and a 917VS Marlin that my wife bought for me when the round was new and I couldn't find any ammo for months so I could shoot it. The Marlin loves the 17 grain V-max. The Contender much prefers the 20 grain stuff. My only game was prairiedogs and jackrabbits and both were very effective on them out to 150 or so yards. Now they are just range toys as both animals are about as plentiful as hen's teeth around here. A long extended drouth and some poison will do that. As to ammo I have not seen any for sale locally for over a year. I am glad you have it available.
