My Very Nice And Generous Uncle Passed On To Me A Very Nice Bow The This Morning. It Is A Golden Eagle Hawk Its Pretty Old Has Tons Of Sentimental Value And Is #1 On My Never Selling List. I Need To Get It Tuned Up And Cleaned Up And Hone In My Arrow Flingin Skills In Time For Gobbler Season. And Hopefully Ill Get A Few This Season. Then Im Taking It On A Hog Hunt.

hes got some old sight system on ther . i want to put fiber optic sights on there but im not sure what some good ones are. any suggestions?

There are so many different sights on the market, I think your best bet is to go to a store with a very well stocked archery department (Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, Cabela's) and see what looks best to you. Even if you don't by it there, they are good places to compare products.

I use the basic Cobra fiber optic sights on my hunting rig. No need for anything fancy unless your gonna shoot 3-D tourneys.

Get new cables and strings, lube up the cams, tune the bow and enjoy. Check out eastons arrow selection software to get the best performance out of your bow. I hate when folks go out to walmart and buy the 2117 arrows and shoot them thru a 65lb draw bow. Like shooting a telephone pole. Too heavy and you loose speed. Get the lightest arrow with the best spine stiffness for your set up.

http://www.eastonarchery.com/downloads/ will give you great info on arrow weight, spine and bow tuning. Do it to the letter. It helps alot. Expecially when you put broadheads on your arrows. If your bow isnt tuned right the broadhead arrows will fly like a knuckleball.

About the only thing that limits you with your choice of a sight is how much you want to spend. Like RCL said, go and look at as many sights as you can and find one that you like and fits your budget. I seriously doubt that you could go wrong with any of today's modern fiber optic sights. I personally just picked up an HHA Optimizier 5500.
