Got a new rifle

well new to me anyways. Just picked up a PRE 64 model 94 winchester 30-30. I always wanted one and a couple weeks back went to a local gun shop and there on the rack was a beauty so I just had to snatch it up before someone else got it. Just wondering the guy at the shop sold me a box of hollow points because thats all he had in stock are hollow points ok to shoot in this rifle? they are flat nosed but their a little hard is the any chance of a magazine discharge with this ammo? anyways just thought i would tell you guys about my new toy. by the way its in great condition and the bore looks brand new.

Acquiring a pre-64 Winchester of any type truly is sweet. You simply can't beat the classics.

Are the hollow points in already loaded .30-30 ammo? If they were loaded by some manufacture they will be fine. But if they are hollow points like you would find loaded for a .30-06 then you might have a problem.

How much? I'm only asking because I might have a line on a pre 64 model 94 with peep sights.

sorry no pics wife hasn't "hazard trained" me on the camera. as far as the ammo goes it is round nose jhp winchester super x brand. ill try to get some pics soon.

I've used the winchester hollow points in my marlin. They work just fine.
