Got a new toy

Well, I broke down and got a new Kimber today - A Tactical Custom 2.

Once I break it in, I plan to get a 2 piece guiderod. I know many people hate em, but I find them easier to take apart and put back together than a 1 piece. Also may swop out to a Chip McCormick black trigger. The black trigger doesn't show wear as easily as a steel colored one...

Came darn close to buying the compact version for my last purchase. Excellent set of features on these gussied up Kimbers these days.

Very nice pistol.I have a Kimber Custom Defender II. Have you tried a set of Crimson Trace grips on a 1911? Very nice for us shooters with less than 20/20 vision.
