It's what I've been using for about the last 10 years. It just plain works! The ONLY powder I found that doesn't meter well with it is Alliant Unique. Anything else works fine.

One warning! DO NOT leave ANY powder sit in it, empty it as soon as you're done dispensing. Ignore this warning, you'll be trying to remove embedded powder that has melted into the plastic of the base!

I have found that they are finely accurate, but pre-dumping a scooped charge into the scale tray/funnel greatly reduces time in waiting for the measure to meter it out. Use the automated feature to "top off" your slightly-less amount that you can dump by hand. In short order, you ahve a precision measured & weighed charge.

Pact & Fluorescent Lights.

I have 2 pact scales & the dispenser, the only thing that I have noticed is that the scales some times will turn on. When using the comb for dumping powder I have 'Never" had any problems with that operation. I leave both the scales plugged in all the time & turned off, that keeps hem warmed up & ready to go all the time. If you have a power dip , as in gose off for a second, then they will be on when you next return. I had theold model set & had it [Up-Graded] last yr. WOW what an improvement, faster and more accurate. Cost was $50 plus shipping one way. Actually I think they just sent the newer model. My 2¢ Russ.

As far as the scale turning itself on, I recently discovered that any electrical impulse change on the circuit that the scale is plugged into, like turning a nearby light on or off, seems to trigger the scale to come on. I had often wondered if electric company power surges were doing it (causing the scale to be on), but then found my own circuit "disruptions" were doing it. FYI.
