I live in the arid south west mountains, 6500' elevation. I been thinking it would be nice to fence off an area on my place to give some extra feed to the Elk & Deer.
I already keep water going year round. We get about 12" of moisture annually.
Any recommendations of what to plant?
I have a few locations at the base of north facing slopes I thought might be greener.
