Woo hoo, not that I was really sweating it too much, but finally got invoiced from Powder Valley. No shipping info yet, but I should have it soon.... Right? Got some new powders to play with, and will start to experiment reloading the .308 for my H&K. Just picked up the dies last night from my LGS and he hit me for 40 bucks for some RCBS dies. He has been really good to me so I didn't mind overpaying. Last week I got my order in from Grafs and was really pleased with the way that Varmint shot some 55 grain ZMax's that I had. 3 shot to fit in a dime at a 100 so that is good enough for me. Can't wait for Turkey season to be over so I can start busting some long range ground grizzlies. From 250-300 it is a pretty good challenge for me without a bench.

If your order contains powder, it could be up to another 2 weeks before you get shipment notification.

If it's just primers or other components, you may see shipment notification within a day or two.

I know this from recent experience :(

My last order was for 32lbs of powder, only took 2 days to get a shipping notice once the funds cleared the bank, and only a couple days after that until it hit my door. But they are only a 4 hour drive from me.

After the 2008 elections, a bunch of folks in my area did a group purchase to PV in Dec. We got our powder/primers in June 2009. It sounds like they are on similar time schedule now.

Only if you're waiting on a backorder. It's taking about 4-7 weeks for components that are listed as in stock.

And they aren't taking anymore backorders right now so they can concentrate on in stock orders and dealing with backorders when stuff comes in. Primers and very common powders like Unique, Powder Pistol, W231, H4895, and Varget seem to be what they're backed up on the most. Everything else still shows in stock from time to time.

Glad to hear that Hondo, I was actually surprised to see that he had them. I know some of the places (all of them actually) are out of stock on them. He has been really good on all his stuff during this crap. No gouging and just keeping his shelves empty. When he gets his ammo shipments in, he doesn't post it on the company facebook page and lets the regulars get what they need. Then just before lunch he will let everyone know, that way we know to get out of there before the madness happens. lol,
