Went up to bass pro yesterday and got me a Marlin 795. Looked around a little bit and picked up a nice little BSA scope for $30. (3-9x40) Now I got to wait for this Monday, and ill be at the range to zero it in. Looks killer with that little scope, and a strap. Anyone else have a 795?

Good general purpose 22 rifle if you prefer the box type magazine versus under barrel tublular mag (Model 60). Hope it shoots well for you.

Yeah I looked at the 60 and the 60S and liked them both. Great feel, balance, definitely easy to load. I probably pick one of those up next. I just thought for the money, and the first gun that is mine all mine, it would be easier to buy 2-3 more mags for quick reload. Definitely looking at the 60S though. :D

I also want to eventually get a stainless Model 60. I have always prefered the tubular magazine for a general purpose gun. I have a 10/22 (with big mags) for plinking not that I don't do it with other 22's.

go to marlin, on website there should be a link to get a 20 dollar rebate. that will make that rifle a 100 dollar rifle with tax, for a brannew rifle, that is never going to happen again, in our lifetimes.
go over to rimfirecental.com, for all your rimfire questions and needs...
In my opinion, for a mag fed gun, it is proly the best all around, most accurate, cheapest, lightest, bump around, beater , truck gun you can buy.
Just really worth every penny, and will never go down in value; but really doesn't go up either!!!

Thanks Rangerruck I'm looking into that right now. I get to test my scope out on Monday. Its just a cheap little BSA 3-9x40 I picked up when I bought the gun. ($29.77+tax) I think it will be great though. Looked through it and said yep that's my scope!
