Snatched up this little gem recently. ;)

The finish was a bit dull, but some Flitz and plenty of elbow grease took care of that!

The Cobra is basically a Detective Special with an aluminum frame.

With some 158gr LSWC hollowpoints it should be a handy little tool to have around. :)

How much did you give for it??

I gave $325 for it from an individual. I see Detective Specials all the time in that price range, and sometimes cheaper, but rarely see a Cobra.

This Cobra is in great condition, I can't tell that anyone has worked on the innards (which is a good thing, because you never know what some hack might try and the folks truly knowledgeable about the v-spring Colt action are getting scarce), the timing is perfect with none of the all-too-common slow cylinder/hand problems that Colts get after lots of fast double action shooting with full power loads.

So I am quite pleased with this find. :D
