Yep
Hey :
First things first, Pancho you know if you could see that far you could hit that far,
That is my problem and I aint that OLD yet. I'll probably get yelled at again about this but here goes. Let me set things straight first by saying I do not care for Bushnell Products, Never have, I have always felt they were cheap.
But! Bushnell purchased Baush and Lomb. The 3200 Elite 3x9 is what I am using on my Encore. Rear focus, good turrets and they have their new Rain guard on the lenes. This crap works very well. I sat in the rain and was scoping a deer in very thick cover for more then 30 minutes this year an dthat scope never fogged on the outside of the glass. Water was running off the glass and I could still see clearly. The only thing I will change is I will go to a higher Power scope next year. I wack other things with my BP gun too.
Woodchucks, ottes , ect. so for me the higher magnification will help.
Luepold make very nice scopes. I have had and have many. Stay away from their friction turrets, they will frustrate you to no end. You have an excelent rifle and it deserves a good scope. The 3200s and the 4200 Elites are good scopes. Even if Bushnell owns them. They say Bushnell on them now, But to the best of my knowledge they are still B&L scopes. Bushnell now owns 16plus other companies. The problem with any BDC scope is that you must match your load to their specs and I do not play that game.
If you get real serious about BDC, you can test your gun and send your scope to TK lee dot co. (hope I got the name right) They will put any size dot any where you want it. Now you have a custom tuned deal.
I tune and test center fire rifles for accuracy and long distance shooting. I have found that some of the BDC scopes are so far off it is not worth having on the gun. Once the dots are in the correct place you now have precise bullet placement. I may have said that I am an Accuracy nut. Maybe I take this too far sometimes. Have fun.... I think this is their web site
