Well I talked the better half into letting me dip into some of our savings (plenty to go around) with the promise that I will pay it back. I said "no problem"! I immediately went to the Del-ton site and had them build me a 20" A3 upper with a 2 rail gas block, DPMS float tube, and a Phantom 5c2 Flash hider and not only did they have it put together in like 2 hours it was on its way that very next day!! Then ordered a YHM 6" rail extension and some Pmags, an ergo grip, and a Millett DMS-1 afer reading the 50 pages of info on arfcom. Basically made a budget minded S-DMR with a tube and not a rail and an adjustable power scope instead of the 4x ACOG. I'll post pics of it asap!
Oh and I gotta reccomend Del-Ton for what they did in such quick time. The carbine upper I buy will most likely be from them as well and the finish is almost dead on the same as the finish on the double star lower I have it on now.
